Newsletter 1-24-14

     We are working hard on counting money.  Thanks for the help you are providing at home with this.  Keep up the good work!  Practice counting a small handful of change periodically.  We have a new paper in the back sleeve of our homework folder about counting money with touchpoints, for those that are struggling and need a little extra help.  Check it out and practice with your child!

     Please make sure your child brings winter weather gear to wear at recess.  We go out most days.  They are welcome to bring boots and snowpants.

Writing Celebration!

     We finished our all about books!  We got to move around the room and read each other's books.  After we finished reading them, we wrote a compliment to the writer.

    Notes regarding parent teacher conferences will be coming home today.  I have already met with several of you and plan on meeting with the rest of you at this time.  Please return this form Monday so I can get a schedule set up.
