Newsletter 4-25-14

     Please wear outside shoes for P.E. (no flip flops, sandals, or dressy shoes) on Wednesday and Friday.  We are now going outside for P.E. on those days and we don't want to have to wear our inside gym shoes and get them dirty.

Visit the blog for periodic updates about our caterpillars.  We are learning lots about them.  Tabitha was the first one to identify them with a field guide!  The caterpillars will turn into painted lady butterflies before we know it!

Our caterpillars

  They are getting bigger!  We took a great picture today of one curled up on it's side.  See the little white circles along the side?  Those are called spiracles.  They are breathing holes.

We love Miss Hannah!

     Miss Hannah comes to help out in our classroom everyday.  Last week, she taught us about friendship and the difference between making caring choices and not caring choices.  Thanks, Miss Hannah, for all you do for us!  We love you!

Our new visitors

  If you haven't heard yet, we have some new visitors in our room.  They are caterpillars.  Here we are, observing them the first day they came, last Wednesday.  More to come later.

Grandparents Day

We had lots of guests today!  Here we are with our special visitors (grandparents and others)!

Newsletter 4-16-14

      No school Friday, due to Good Friday.  Have a great Easter with your family.

      Congratulations to everyone who participated in Book it this year!  Allison and Carson read every month!  Great work!

       Beach Day and the Limbo Contest were a blast!  Halle and Phoebe represented our class.  Ask your child about it!
