Newsletter 1-23-15

     Our snack cabinet is low.  If you are able, the class would enjoy some healthy snacks to share.  Crackers, cereal, etc. are great.  Thanks!

    We are off to a great start in measurement!  Your child brought home a paper ruler.  I printed another on the back of this newsletter.  Please keep it handy for homework assignments in case you don't have a ruler at home.

    We are working on writing friendly letters.  If you haven't sent back the paper with the name and address of the family member your child would like to write to, please return it by Monday.

      With the two school cancellations we have had, Wawasee Community School Corporation will now be in session on Monday, January 26 and Monday, February 23.

We just finished up our counting money unit in math and will begin studying measuring length and capacity.

We are beginning a unit about magnets.  An additional sheet will be coming home soon about studying magnets safely.  Ask your child about it.

Newsletter 1-12-15

     With the crazy weather we had, we are going to carry spelling list 13 over another week.  We will test on this list Thursday, January 15.

     If your child brought home a parent teacher conference paper, please return it tomorrow so I can get a schedule together.  As always, if you wish to meet with me and I did not send you a paper, just contact me and I will be happy to set up a time.
