newsletter 10-16-15
Our trip to Koinonia is Wednesday of next week. We will be departing at 9:15, not 8:45 as previously stated. I forgot to adjust the time due to the trip being on a Smart Start day. Chaperones need to be here by 9:00. We are excited!
Please remember to bring a disposable lunch and drink, both should be labeled with your child's name (no lunch boxes).
Dress for the weather – most activities are outdoors (no sandals, wear a coat, hat, and gloves)
We just finished up addition in equal groups in math. We will begin 2 digit addition with regrouping next week. This requires lots of practice and support. You will see some extra homework as well. Thanks in advance for your help with this. Help on homework is OK!

Oct. 22-23 – Fall Break – no school
Oct. 26 – PTO meeting 8:30 am in Happy Place
Oct. 27 – Picture retakes at 9:00am

Our class goes to the book fair Monday at 12:40. Your child will have the opportunity to shop at that time if you wish.
Thank you to those of you who took time out of busy schedules to come to conferences. I enjoyed meeting with you, getting to know you, and sharing all the hard work we've been doing so far this year. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns that come up.
