Newsletter 1-30-15

      We are finishing off our measurement unit shortly and beginning to work on telling time.  Please work on this at home in authentic situations.  Talking about what time you eat dinner, leave for school in the morning, etc. helps a child get a feeling for telling time.  Ask them to read the clock for you during daily situations as well. 

    Author, Julia Cook, will be visiting our students Monday, Feb. 2.  She will be here in the evening at 6:00pm also if you would like to attend with your family.

    Our snack cabinet is low.  If you are able, the class would enjoy some healthy snacks to share.  Crackers, cereal, etc. are great.  Thanks!
