Author's purpose

     Author's have a purpose when they write.  They are trying to teach their reader something.  Here is what we think these authors are trying to teach us.

He was teaching us not to ignore someone.

To teach you about dinosaurs.

The author is teaching us about Asia.

That is is kind of bad to get chicken pox.

The Bible teaches us about God's Word so he teaches
us to do the good things so we know right from wrong.
